Dr. Naomi Wolf has some interesting insights into the failed assassination attempt against President Donald Trump. She recorded a lengthy description of the behind-the-scenes process of Secret Service planning for events where protected subjects like presidents, first ladies, and presidential candidates will potentially be in danger.
Wolf’s husband worked in military intelligence and later in protective services, so he has insider knowledge of Secret Service operations and tactics. In the immediate aftermath of the shooting, he identified ten separate “anomalies” that never should have happened on July 13th. She runs through all those anomalies and then goes into even more detail.
Dr. Wolf worked for the Clinton White House back in the 1990s and she has specific insider knowledge about how scheduling meetings with the Secret Service go. Events that protected subjects attend must be approved weeks in advance and can only be approved after the Secret Service determines the venue is safe.
On the same day of the shooting, Jill Biden gave a speech in Pennsylvania to a small crowd in a closed conference room. She spoke for just 5 minutes. The Secret Service sent 12 additional post agents to protect Jill Biden that day, but only sent three extra agents to guard President Trump in a wide-open field with 20,000 people there.
It’s worth watching this video because she goes into minute detail on the inner workings of how these planning meetings go—and she thinks the American people deserve answers about the decision-making process that left Donald Trump vulnerable while Jill Biden had a ridiculous amount of extra protection.
