With President Donald Trump starting off his second term by tightening the United States’ purse strings, many foreign leaders who have had their hands in America’s pockets have been losing their minds.
The president signed an executive order freezing all international aid and with it, Trump has prevented these foreign nations from continuing to leach off the American taxpayer. Needless to say, many foreign leaders HATE him for it.
But one prominent former foreign leader pointed out how absurd this was, saying that countries should be responsible for their OWN people rather than expecting the United States to foot the bill.
Former President of Kenya, Uhuru Kenyatta, said “I saw some people the other day crying. Oh, I don’t know, Trump has removed money—He is not giving us any more money.”
He asked, “Why are you crying?!”
“It is not your government! It is not your country! He has no reason to give you anything!”
Kenyatta continued, “He has no reason to give you anything. Hey, you don’t pay taxes in America. He’s appealing to his people!”
He said that foreign leaders need to start thinking, “Okay, what are we going to do to help ourselves instead of crying? What are we going to do to support ourselves?”
This is EXACTLY right. It’s time for foreign countries to stop expecting American tax dollars to bail them out because hopefully Trump is going to put an end to this nonsensical practice once and for all!

“Why are you crying? It’s not your government, he has no reason to give you anything. This is a wakeup call to say what are we going to do to help ourselves?”
