White House Source Says Trump was Tested for Deliberate Food Poisoning

President Trump’s impromptu visit to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, MD set off a firestorm of speculation as to the “real” reason for his sudden stopover.

Apparently with little else newsworthy about the impeachment hearings which Sen. Lindsey Graham called a “nothing burger” the media had nothing better to do that make up wild theories why the President made an unscheduled visit to the doctor.

On Monday night Comedy Central host Trevor Noah asked, “Was it a health emergency or did he need to get a marble removed from his nose again?”

The Washington rumor mill had the President everything from a major heart attack to an in-depth mental health checkup. But, Whitehouse press secretary Stephanie Grisham it was “absolutely not” true that Trump had anything but a routine physical exam.

Gram told Jeanine Pirro of Fox News, “He is healthy as can be. I put a statement out about that. He’s got more energy than anybody in the White House. That man works from 6 a.m. until, you know, very, very late at night. He’s doing just fine.

During his visit, Trump met with the family of a Special Forces soldier injured in Iraq. Graham said that other than that, it was a very routine day.
