Wow – where has the old Kevin McCarthy gone? The previous Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) was, to be honest, never that impressive as a public speaker. But now that he’s become the new Speaker of the House, we’re seeing some signs of life in a man who previously had no principles and basically formed his opinions based on whatever Washington lobbyists want.
The new and improved Kevin McCarthy acts and sounds like he earned a PhD from the Donald Trump University in Verbally Manhandling Reporters with the Truth Until They Cry and Run Away. (It’s a humanities degree.)
We never thought we’d say this, but it’s actually kind of fun watching this new and improved version of Kevin McCarthy. Reporters were challenging him a few days ago about his decision to kick serial liar Adam Schiff and the Chinese spy-lovin’ Eric Swalwell off of the Intelligence Committee. McCarthy’s response, seen in the video here, is epic!
Schiff, of course, lied to Americans for years about nonexistent “Russia collusion evidence” against Donald Trump that was “hiding in plain sight.” It was all entirely fabricated. The only people colluding with Russia worked for the FBI, as we learned just this week!
And Eric Swalwell wrecked his first marriage by cavorting around with Fang Fang the obvious Chinese spy. That has to rank as one of the dumbest moves in congressional history. Both are unfit for the Intel Committee.
