What the Mainstream Media was Too Afraid to Tell You

Liz Wheeler from One America News recently shared five stories the mainstream media was afraid to tell you this week.

One of those stories is about California Assemblyman Miguel Santiago (D),  who has petitioned Gov. Gavin Newsom to ban the sales of firearms and ammunition throughout the state until the Covid-19 pandemic is over.

Santiago said in the letter, “Adding more firearms to our current state of affairs perpetuates the cycle of public panic and impulsive action.”

Gun shops in the Bay Area have remained closed as they await results of a suit filed by the NRA against Alameda, Contra Costa, Santa Clara and San Mateo counties in federal court. Those counties have refused to include firearms dealers as essential businesses.

AmmoLand reports, “A growing number of law-abiding citizens have been forced to realize that they are their own first line of defense – particularly in a pandemic when resources are strained. Covid-19 is exposing all manner of tyrants, with mayors, legislators and judges believing their authority has no limits.”

Santiago said in his letter to the Governor that citizens should be armed with “strong safeguards on public health and safety” and not guns.

However, as Ammoland observed: “Santiago’s request … is not only reckless, but it is also tyrannical.”

California’s ban on firearms is just one story that the mainstream media failed to tell Americans about this past week. Watch the video to see what else the media isn’t telling you.
