Fox News Contributor Raymond Abboyo recently took Laura Ingraham on a video tour of South Bend, Indiana for a firsthand look at how the city’s residents feel about their city’s Mayor, Pete Buttigieg.
What Abboyo found in South Bend explains why the left loves him even as he leads the home of the venerable Notre Dame into the same abyss as San Francisco.
Mainstream media types have adopted Mayor Pete as quickly as they lost interest in their former darling, Beto O’Rourke. As Tucker Carlson said, “One morning, you wake up and discover that your one true love, the American news media, has called it off. They’ve left you for a younger, hotter candidate. They went out for a pack of cigarettes and never came home.”
But while the mainstream media may be in love with the idea of Mayor Pete as President of the United States, the residents of his city are not.
South Bend residents are united in their admiration of Mayor Pete, the man but the same can’t be said for their estimation of his ability to lead.
When asked, “Given Mayor Pete’s leadership here … is he ready to assume national office?” a leading local official remarked, “We’ve got a mayor who is more concerned about politics now that he is safety in our own city.”
Watch the video and see what Pete Buttigieg’s city has experienced under his leadership. The images of his city tell the real story.
