Democrats have apparently decided that blaming President Joe Biden’s horrible economy on President Donald Trump is not enough, so they’ve decided to kick things up a notch.
Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker (D) recently appeared on MSDNC and gave the most absurd reason for why grocery prices are up.
Pritzker said that “the prices at the grocery store are going up because democracy is being taken away.”
According to this Democrat governor, the cost of groceries has gone up not because of the Democrats printing money to support their radical leftist agenda, but simply, because Trump is “taking Democracy away…” whatever the hell that means…
Pritzker claimed that he’s not saying this to try and win elections (right…) but rather because “people need to hear this to be aware of what’s happening in America.”
“It’s a danger to your way of life, and that’s what people need to understand,” the governor said. “It’s all about affordability. It’s all about how you can make it just a little bit easier for people, every single day, to live their lives. And they’re taking that away from you. That is what it’s like to have democracy taken away.”
Democrats realized that Americans can see right through their “threat to democracy” crap, so now apparently they’re trying to pivot to talk about the economy instead but they’re doing it in the most bizarre way possible…
