Has Russian collusion become a religion like global warming? No amount of facts or evidence seem to dissuade the collusion truthers from their belief that Donald Trump conspired with the Kremlin to steal the 2016 election from the rightful winner, Hillary Clinton.
When the Mueller report was finally released and conclusively showed that no one in the Trump campaign – and in fact, no one in America – colluded with the Russians, the collusion truthers immediately “saw through it.” MSNBC accused Mueller of being a secret racist. He was part of the conspiracy all along!
Of course Mueller didn’t find collusion, say the truthers – he’s one of Putin’s puppets. We always knew that! And if the glaciers are actually increasing in size, it just means that YOU DON’T UNDERSTAND SCIENCE!
Now the collusion truthers are demanding to see the entire Mueller report so they can parse every word in it. Just because Mueller didn’t find that Trump himself didn’t collude with Russia, doesn’t mean that no one in the Trump campaign colluded! Spoiler alert: Mueller said “no US person” colluded with Russia – and that includes Don, Jr., Roger Stone, Carter Page, Jerome Corsi, Paul Manafort and even young Barron Trump. Nobody colluded!
That’s not good enough for the collusion truthers, though. Just ask 2020 presidential candidate and vegan pusher, Cory Booker. Watch this clip and you’ll see that he knows the collusion truth is out there.
