Democrats are going hog-wild in Virginia this legislative session, after capturing the House, Senate, and governor’s office in the last election away from Republicans. The session has barely started, and the Democrats have already proposed dozens of woke communist bills that no sane person could possibly support. But there is a method to the madness.
Abigail Spanberger ran for governor as a “moderate” Democrat. In fact, the Democrat Party held her up as a sort of anti-Mamdani. She was going to be a sensible leader for Virginia, unlike that foreign communist scammer who just became the new mayor of New York.
This is all by design, because Democrats plan to run Spanberger for president in 2028. So, right now, the DNC has Democrat representatives and senators in Virginia proposing some of the craziest bills we’ve ever seen in America.
They’ve got bills to impose enormous income tax increases, new sales taxes, and hotel taxes. There are bills to protect, shelter, and lavish illegal aliens with taxpayer dollars. The Democrats want to lower the penalties for armed robbery, while banning gun ownership by law-abiding Americans. They even want to make it illegal for journalists to investigate daycares. (Gee, we wonder why!)
Spanberger will veto some of these crazy bills, as part of the DNC’s plan to present her as a sensible, moderate Democrat when she runs for president—even though she’s more extreme than Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.
