On a recent CNN panel, Jones let loose with a rare moment of honesty. “This is not gonna make me popular,” he began—always a clue something true is about to be said on that network. “But I’m not mad, because it got ridiculous.” He described his own experience as an employer trying to navigate a workplace hijacked by social justice warriors and microaggression police.
“At a certain point, your Slack channel just turns into Vietnam every other day because something happened that had nothing to do with the workplace,” he said. “This is not camp, guys. We’re trying to make money.”
Hold up. Did Van Jones just say capitalism trumps cancel culture? That’s gotta sting for the woke crowd who think every office should come with therapy dogs and weekly pronoun check-ins.
Jones continued, “I enjoyed the moment for a while… We done wrecked, okay? Reckoning direct. We can move on.” Translation: the woke movement burned down the house, blamed the fire on racism and climate change, and now wants to move on like nothing happened.
Conservatives have been warning about this for years—how identity politics and social justice hysteria would poison everything from your favorite TV shows to your Monday morning staff meetings. And now even CNN can’t pretend it’s all sunshine and safe spaces.
BlazeTV’s Dan Andros nailed it: “They’ve overplayed their hands… people are sick of it.” He pointed out the obvious—Trump didn’t win again because the country turned evil overnight. He won because Americans are fed up with being told they’re bigots for wanting a normal life. You call Trump “Hitler” for four years, and then you lose to him in a landslide? Maybe the problem isn’t the voters—it’s your unhinged rhetoric.
Stu Burguiere chimed in too, reminding everyone that if you really believe Trump is Hitler, and your neighbors just elected him again, you’ve got two choices: admit you were wrong or accept that you now live in “Nazi Germany.” Spoiler: most lefties are choosing Door #2, full-blown delusion.
It’s not just about politics anymore—it’s about people having to survive in workplaces where every word is a landmine. You can’t joke, you can’t speak freely, and you sure as heck can’t disagree. Everything’s a crisis. Everything’s offensive. And the only thing employers are producing is HR paperwork and anxiety.
Van Jones may not have meant to launch a truth bomb, but he did—and the fallout is glorious. The woke era, ladies and gentlemen, is eating itself alive. Even its champions are waving the white flag.
