Twitter took the progressive left’s disdain for the 1st Amendment to a new level this week when it locked Donald Trump’s re-election campaign’s account and didn’t allow it to tweet for nearly a day.
The Trump campaign’s Twitter lockout was triggered when it re-tweeted a link to a New York Post article that exposed Joe Biden’s corruption in regards to his son’s dealing in Ukraine.
Michael Hahn, the campaign’s social media manager, posted a screenshot of Twitter’s claim the post “violated our rules against posting private information.”
Twitter also locked the accounts of One America News reporter Jack Posobiec, White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany, the House Judiciary Committee, conservative actor James Woods, gun rights champion Dana Loesch and the fifth largest newspaper in the world, the New York Post.
A post from Twitter Safety added: “We want to provide much needed clarity around the actions we’ve taken with respect to two NY Post articles that were first Tweeted this morning.”
This non-apology satisfied almost no one, including President Trump who told Fox Business, “It’s out of control. And it’s [social media] like a third arm – maybe a first arm – of the DNC [Democratic National Committee]…”
Congressional Republicans have demanded Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey and Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg appear before a Senate committee hearing on “digital platforms and election interference” before the election on November 3.
Republican Senator Deb Fischer of Nebraska said Twitters’ actions were “ridiculous and unacceptable.”

Both Twitter and Facebook should be censored by US senator’s for being bias to certain parties and their constituents. They Should be fined to pay restitution to the parties that they have been shut down for political reasons. The FCC should put both Twitter and Facebook on probation for and extended period, The FCC should rule that either parties violated these rules that their license be suspended for one year. Also, in the ruling they make a public apology to ran until after the election. “ We the people “ have spoken. God Bless America.
