TV Ads the GOP Should Run if They Want to Win Mid Terms in 2018

According to most analysts, the GOP could be in for a tough outing in the 2018 midterms. Democrats cast this prediction as a reflection of the Trump Presidency, however, it has much more to do with the fact that the party in power has historically almost always lost seats during the midterm elections.

Nevertheless, there’s a lot on the line for Trump and the GOP. Democrats have already shown that they have zero intention of working with Trump regardless of the issue, and if they are able to take back control of Congress then the Trump administration will essentially be shackled until 2020.

The good news is that there are a lot of points that the GOP can leverage to buck the trend and persuade voters to vote Republican in the upcoming midterms. From wanting to ban all semi-automatic weapons – handguns included – to wanting to abolish the tax cuts that have eased the burden on small businesses and the middle class, Democrats have provided the GOP with no shortage of ammunition that they can use to fire up their base between now and November 2018.

If Republicans can intelligently leverage these points through political ads, they might actually create a scenario where they can pick up seats in Congress rather than lose them.
