Trying to Unravel Vivek Ramaswamy’s True Views of America

One of the most surprising things that happened after Vivek Ramaswamy was diplomatically kicked out of the Trump administration was that many conservative voters are still supporting him. He’s polling in first place in the Republican primary for Ohio governor, even after Ramaswamy insisted that Americans are all lazy and stupid compared to the amazing people from his utopian homeland of India.

It’s baffling to think that Ramaswamy could stand a chance of holding a high political office in the United States when he holds the American people in such contempt. It’s almost as if we’re turning into the UK. Are Ohioans really going to elect a pseudo-conservative who hates them to be their next governor?

Many people fall for Ramaswamy’s schtick because he talks fast and delivers a lot of red-meat zingers. But when you take two steps back and analyze the meaning of what he says, it’s insulting and obnoxious.

America is not a “concept” or an “idea” as Ramaswamy asserts. We’re a nation with borders and our own distinct language and culture. And until mass immigration started in 1965, we were a mostly homogenous race of Eastern European descendants.

By claiming that America is basically an office park that’s here to be looted by any foreigners who win a game of tag with the Border Patrol, Ramaswamy reveals himself to be a foreign globalist.

Watch this analysis of Ramaswamy’s slippery words when it comes to answering a very simple question: “What is an American?”
