Trump’s Proposes Cutting Payroll Tax to Combat Covid-19

Glenn Beck is in love with President Trump’s idea to cut payroll taxes to combat the economic impact of COVID-19. Despite that, establishment Washington and most in the mainstream media are dead set against it.

Beck wrote an article for The Blaze that fear of a worldwide Coronavirus pandemic is playing havoc with businesses and markets that are under a cloud of uncertainty.

But Beck believes, “President Trump has pulled no punches when it’s come to handling this outbreak, but his latest idea might be his greatest — ever.”

In response to Trump’s proposal, Beck has offered to either campaign for the President (or not if he prefers) and is urging his audience to flood the President with support from what no other president—including Reagan—has “had the guts to do.”

While most Democrat and some Republican lawmakers are leery of Trump’s idea to cut payroll taxes to 0% for the remainder of 2020, there is no question that something must be done to protect the U.S. economy.

Moody’s economist Mark Zandi told CNBC this past Monday, “I think it is very difficult to avoid a recession. The depth of the recession will depend on how the [Trump] administration reacts.”

Watch the video and see why Glenn Beck loves Trump’s plan and why it would be the biggest blow he could make to progressives ever.
