Trump’s H1-B Comments Stir Conservative Outrage

Donald Trump just poked a hornet’s nest with a comment that’s got conservatives buzzing—and not in a good way.

In a fiery interview with Laura Ingraham, President Trump defended the controversial H1-B visa program, which lets companies bring in foreign workers for specialized jobs. When Ingraham pushed back, saying, “We have plenty of talented people,” Trump didn’t flinch. “No you don’t. No you don’t,” he shot back. He added, “You can’t take someone off the unemployment line and say ‘I’m gonna put you in a factory and we’re gonna make missiles.’”

As you can imagine the backlash from Conservatives as fierce. The Daily Wire’s Matt Walsh lit up social media, “Even if it were true that we don’t have enough talented people in this country, which it isn’t, that would be all the more reason to stop importing foreigners. We need to train up our own people. Give actual Americans a shot. America is for Americans.”

Actor Kevin Sorbo chimed in with a warning: “What an atrocious thing to say. This will cost republicans the midterms.”

And pollster Mark Mitchell asked the question a lot of Trump’s base is now thinking: “Why does Trump 47 insult his base? This isn’t the first time.”

This isn’t just about immigration—it’s about priorities. Americans are tired of being told they’re not good enough while watching jobs and opportunities handed to people from halfway around the world. Especially after years of being told by Democrats that borders don’t matter and American workers can just “learn to code” or go on welfare.

Now Trump’s tapping a nerve, and it’s not the good kind. Even some of his most loyal supporters are scratching their heads.
