Trump’s Energy Secretary Obliterates Net Zero as a ‘Malinvestment’ Scam

US Energy Secretary Chris Wright hasn’t been in the headlines much during President Trump’s first year back in office. He’s been extremely busy moving the president’s domestic energy agenda forward. That involves, in large part, unraveling all the Green New Deal retardery that Joe Biden inflicted on our energy sector over the prior four years.

Secretary Wright spoke in Miami last week at the Goldman Sachs Energy Conference. He delivered a sobering and stone-cold assessment of just how terrible the globalists have been when it comes to their “Net Zero” policies.

Net Zero, of course, is the idiotic idea that carbon (the molecule of LIFE) is somehow a pollutant, and that therefore countries must generate all their electricity without oil, gas, and coal. This is moronic. You can’t build a windmill without a large volume of petroleum and diesel to construct it and set it up—and the windmill only has about a 20-year lifespan once it’s built.

During his remarks, Wright correctly notes that Net Zero has been the biggest “malinvestment” in human history.  Europe has spent trillions of dollars converting its energy grid to wind and solar in recent decades. The result was less power, a much less stable energy grid, and the tripling of energy costs across the EU.

Fortunately, the insanity has stopped here in America, now that President Trump is back in charge. Here’s a clip of Wright’s remarks last week as he obliterated the global warming scam. It’s well worth your time to watch:
