President Donald Trump has seemingly set his sights on one of the world’s most serious problems, one which his predecessors have completely ignored – the birth rate.
Birth rates all over the world have been dropping steadily for years now, and the United States is currently sitting on a birth rate (1.62 per woman) that is well below replacement level (2.1 per woman.)
Simply put, Americans are not having enough kids and we are legitimately at risk of becoming extinct if things continue down this path.
But according to the New York Times, Trump has a plan to stop it!
The Times wrote that the White House has been mulling over a number of different ideas in order to increase both marriage and birth rates.
One of these options would be a $5,000 “baby bonus” to every mother after they have a child, to reward and encourage having children rather than demonize it as the left has for so long.
President Trump’s administration is easily the most pro-family that we have had in a LONG time in this country so if anybody were well suited to solve this dire crisis, it’s them.
Simone Collins, an activist looking to increase the birth rates in America, said exactly this. “I just think this administration is inherently pronatalist, look at the number of kids that major leaders in the administration have. You didn’t hear about kids in the same way under Biden.”
One of President Donald Trump‘s top advisors, Elon Musk, has been rather vocal about just how serious this crisis is, not only for America, but for the entirety of humanity.
