President Trump just dropped a truth bomb the media wasn’t ready for — and it’s going viral.
On his way out of Palm Beach heading back to the White House, Trump stopped to take questions from reporters. One of them thought they had a real “gotcha” moment lined up. The question? What does Trump think about Tucker Carlson interviewing Nick Fuentes — a controversial figure the media loves to scream about.
Trump didn’t flinch. Instead, he delivered a calm, clear, and totally unbothered response.
“Well, I found him to be good. I mean, he said good things about me over the years. I think he’s good. We’ve had some good interviews,” Trump said about Tucker Carlson. “You can’t tell him who to interview. I mean, if he wants to interview Nick Fuentes, I don’t know much about him, but if he wants to do it, get the word out. People have to decide. Ultimately, people have to decide.”
Translation: The media doesn’t get to decide who Americans listen to. The people do.
Naturally, the press tried to drag up that old dinner at Mar-a-Lago again — the one where Fuentes showed up with Kanye. Trump wasn’t buying the drama then, and he’s still not.
“I didn’t know he was coming,” Trump said. “He was with, as you know, somebody, Kanye — and Kanye asked if he could have dinner, and he brought Nick. I didn’t know Nick at the time.”
Exactly. It wasn’t some secret meeting. It was Kanye bringing along people to dinner. But the media wants to twist it into a scandal, because that’s what they do when they’ve got nothing else.
Trump wrapped it up perfectly: “Meeting people, talking to people, like for somebody like Tucker, that’s what they do… I’m not controversial, so I like it that way.”
