When you look at California, it’s hard to see anything other than a liberal hell hole. Homelessness is hitting record highs. Medieval diseases are on the rise. And then there’s the Hollywood influence. It seems like every bad idea in politics and society is spawning in the muck that is California. Despite all of that, the state might not be as far gone as it seems.
For starters, there remain multiple Republican and conservative strongholds in the state. Basically the entire east half of California is deep red.
In fact, when you get out of the three largest metros, things get a lot more normal. Also, you might recall that California had a Republican governor just a decade ago.
The real sign of hope comes from President Trump’s recent visit to the state. He took one look at the homelessness and immediately called for action. Federal agencies are now setting out to do what the liberal state government has failed for years. Mr. Trump might fix some of their biggest problems after all.
That’s not the extent of success brewing from this visit. President Trump’s campaign was well-received in the Golden State. You can tell because the fundraising response was explosive.
