Trump Pledges Strong Retaliation After Syria Attack

Three Americans are dead after an ISIS gunman opened fire on the group in Syria, and President Trump immediately put Syria and the rest of the world on notice.

Two U.S. Army soldiers and one American civilian interpreter were killed Saturday during a joint operation in Syria. Three more U.S. personnel were also wounded in the attack. The Pentagon says the mission was part of ongoing efforts to wipe out what’s left of ISIS. The attack happened during a “key leader engagement,” which is a fancy way of saying our troops were trying to keep the peace in a dangerous place.

And then a lone terrorist showed up.

The savage behind the attack was killed on the spot by partner forces, according to Secretary of War Pete Hegseth. He didn’t hold back. “Let it be known, if you target Americans — anywhere in the world — you will spend the rest of your brief, anxious life knowing the U.S. will hunt you, find you, and ruthlessly kill you,” Hegseth warned.

That’s not a threat. That’s a promise.

President Trump responded quickly and clearly on Truth Social. “We mourn the loss of three Great American Patriots,” he said. “This was an ISIS attack… in a very dangerous part of Syria.” He also confirmed that the three wounded soldiers are doing well, and that the Syrian president is “extremely angry and disturbed.”

Trump didn’t mince words: “There will be very serious retaliation.”

Now let’s remember something. Under the Biden administration, we had weakness, confusion, and chaos in the Middle East — just look at Afghanistan. But under Trump, we get strength, clarity, and action. Terrorists don’t get to kill Americans and walk away. Not anymore.

There’s no room for softness when our soldiers are under attack. Watch the video to see what we’re talking about.

According to social media reports out of Syria, U.S. war planes are conducting shows of force over the city of Palmyra, Syria near where the attack took place. That was quick.
