President Donald Trump recently sat down for a one-on-one interview with NBC’s notoriously left-wing host Kristen Welker and when the Trump-hating hack of a journalist made an attempt to “get” Trump, she failed massively.
At one point in the interview, Welker insinuated that the president of the United States was running America like a dictator.
“What do you say to those who believe you are taking the country down an authoritarian path?” Welker inquired.
Tired of being called a dictator with no reason and for the millionth time, Trump responded, “Well, there you go again,” Trump retorted. “Why don’t you ask in a different way?” before pointing out that he literally won the popular vote.
“I won the election, they (my critics) didn’t win the election,” he said. “I won the popular vote, I won ALL seven swing states by A LOT.”
He went on to say, “You should ask the question differently,” he told her. “You should say what about the people who want to be in this country?”
As President Trump points out, it’s not exactly common for “dictators” to have the majority of their country vote for them and people don’t tend to WANT to live under their rule.
Welker tried to “get” Trump yet again, but this time she failed so bad that it might legitimately be the end of her career.
