Trump Campaign Trolls Fake News Media Outlets in New Viral Video for Star Wars Day

President Trump’s re-election campaign trolled fake news media outlets recently in a recent video for Star Wars Day that has gone viral. The video tweeted by the campaign depicts the President as symbolically decapitating CNN and MSNBC in the form of two stormtroopers.

The clip – titled “May The 4th Be With You” – features presumed Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden’s face replacing that of Emperor Palpatine.

The White House Correspondents Association, a leftwing group, reacted with feigned horror. WHCA President Jonathan Karl said the group is “horrified” by the “violent video” that depict President Trump beating up and shooting the media and political rivals like Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, and Mitt Romney.

Calling the video “MAGA porn,” Amy Penn of Front Page Live wrote, “President Donald Trump has, repeatedly, assaulted the press and said unsavory things about reporters.” She claimed the May 4th Star Wars took to a new low in “showing Trump as Yoda, decapitating cable news networks.”

Penn said, “Twitter couldn’t resist the opportunity to not just call out the errors in the ad, but to condemn its timing as the U.S. continues to battles coronavirus, and over 69,000 Americans have died from it.”

What Twitter really couldn’t resist was bashing Trump.

Watch the video and decide for yourself if the video took things too far or is spot on.
