Trump Approval Rating Skyrockets, Media Reacts

The Patriot Report says the mainstream media is experiencing a meltdown over President Trump’s continually rising approval rating. They write, “The political media have been working extremely hard to craft a narrative that the spread of the coronavirus was essentially the fault of the man they had blamed for all other ills in recent years. How could the people not accept that narrative, particularly considering that most everyone in the media was pushing it?”

To make matters worse for the mainstream media, a new Gallup poll shows 49% of the country approve of the job Trump is doing as president and 60% approve of his coronavirus response. While Trump’s approval rating is as high as it has ever been in his presidency, the media’s approval ratings continue their downward slide.

It shouldn’t surprise anyone, but journalist Tim Pool says the mainstream media can’t accept “Orange Man Bad” narrative isn’t working as well as it used to during the coronavirus crisis. Despite that, the mainstream media is either depressed or angry Trump’s press conferences are boosting America’s confidence in him as a leader.

Now, the narrative has shifted to labeling Trump’s transparency in his new conferences a “campaign tactic.” Gabriel Sherman, special correspondent for Vanity Fair, expressed this in a Tweet, saying:

Trump is … turning all 3 cable news networks into … Live daily campaign rallies for the President to strengthen his hold on power.
