Former “Elle” magazine gossip columnist E. Jean Carroll, who we have affectionately referred to as the “crazy rape lady” for years, is back in the headlines again.
A couple of years ago, a jury ruled that Donald Trump had not sexually assaulted Carroll. However, the same jurors then awarded her $83 million when they decided that Trump had denied raping her too vehemently, thus defaming her. Trump is now appealing that ruling and the case is before the Second Circuit Court.
The whole thing has been a ridiculous farce for years. E. Jean Carroll’s story is full of even more holes than Christine Blasey Ford’s (the woman who falsely accused Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh of being a teenage gang rapist). When she made up her false rape claims about Donald Trump, the crazy rape lady couldn’t even remember what year it supposedly happened.
Carroll has also accused an astonishing number of wealthy and famous men of raping her. If you take her at her word, she claims she’s been raped by Donald Trump, former CBS chief Les Moonves, several of her former bosses, several guys she knew in college, the King of Siam, the Man in the Moon, Cat Stevens, a team of circus jugglers, and the list goes on and on. She’s probably accused you of raping her at one point and you just don’t know about it.
