Trevor Noah’s Joke Backfires: Trump Hits Back Hard

Trevor Noah thought he was being funny. He thought he could take a cheap shot at President Trump during the Grammys and get away with it. But now he’s about to learn what happens when you mess with the wrong guy.

During his sixth—and thankfully final—time hosting the Grammys, Noah delivered what he called a “joke” about Trump wanting to buy Greenland because “Epstein’s island is gone, he needs a new one to hang out with Bill Clinton.” Really, Trevor? That’s your idea of comedy?

Here’s the joke in its entirety:

Let’s be clear: President Trump has *never* been to Epstein’s island. He’s said it. The media—even the fake ones—never accused him of it. But now this washed-up comedian throws out a completely false and disgusting accusation on live TV, and CBS lets it air? Yeah, that’s not going to fly.

Trump fired back hard on Truth Social, calling Noah a “poor, pathetic, talentless, dope of an M.C.” and said he’s ready to send in the lawyers. That’s the energy we like to see. You don’t get to smear someone with lies and hide behind a punchline.

And if you think Noah stopped there, think again. He also took a swipe at rapper Nicki Minaj for meeting with President Trump, joking that she was “still at the White House” and mocking her support for MAGA. The audience actually cheered when he said she wasn’t there. That’s Hollywood for you—clapping like seals every time someone insults a conservative or praises Biden. But God forbid anyone question the left’s favorite punchlines.

This is exactly why Americans are done with these elitist award shows. They’re not about music or talent anymore—they’re just political hit jobs wrapped in bad jokes and sequins.
