You’ve got to see this circus to believe it. The they/them who tried to break into Vice President JD Vance’s home in Ohio just made his first court appearance, and the defense is already pulling out every excuse in the book — including, and I kid you not, “his poetry is peaceful and beautiful.”
No, really. That was part of the actual argument made in court. Welcome to 2025, where breaking into a public official’s home can be brushed off if your rhymes are soft enough.
Meet William DeFoor — or as he now wants to be called, “Julia.” DeFoor is a 26-year-old biological male who identifies as transgender. He’s also the child of two wealthy pediatricians, raised in luxury in Hyde Park, and sent to elite private schools. Translation: this isn’t some poor, desperate guy — he had every privilege money could buy. But none of that stopped him from allegedly smashing windows and taking a hammer to a Secret Service vehicle parked outside JD Vance’s home.

Oh, and here’s the kicker: his dad donated huge amounts of cash to Kamala Harris, Joe Biden, and other Democrat causes. Of course he did.
This is what happens when the left coddles mental illness and calls it “bravery.” A man with documented psychiatric issues, a history of trespassing at a mental health facility, and zero job prospects walks free in society because he’s “expressing himself.” And now we’re supposed to excuse his bad behavior because he writes “beautiful poetry”? Give me a break.
The prosecutor wasn’t buying it either. They asked for high bond, no firearms, and strict monitoring. DeFoor has multiple prior failures to appear, and he’s already under supervision for similar vandalism charges.
This case is a snapshot of everything wrong with soft-on-crime, identity-obsessed politics. If this had been a conservative breaking into a Democrat’s house, the media would be screaming “domestic terrorism” for weeks. But since it’s a trans Democrat donor going after a Republican VP — silence.
