Top 10 Most Ridiculous Ways the Government Wasted Our Tax Dollars

What is the definition of irony? It’s a bunch of open socialists complaining about how tax cuts have skyrocketed the national debt. In fiscal year 2018, the first year that the new tax code was in play, the government collected record levels of tax revenue. Just as the President promised, the tax cuts actually increased how much money we have in the federal government.

On the other hand, liberal spending programs grew faster than the new revenue, and total deficit spending increased once more. Just to put this in perspective, two-thirds of the entire federal budget is spent on social security and Medicare. The idea that a $200 billion tax cut holds any meaning in the face of $2 trillion of annual mandatory spending is just ridiculous.

If that wasn’t enough, discretionary spending is also out of control. On average, every single government program wastes a significant portion of its budget. If we audited the government and forced them to spend with any amount of responsibility, we could eliminate deficit spending overnight.

This video will completely prove this point. It may not list the most egregious examples of wasteful spending, but everything you’ll see is unquestionably stupid. The next time someone tries to tell you that tax cuts are the problem, show them this video in response.
