It’s kind of like TV shows that used to play home video reels, but updated to modern times. Well, it’s used for a lot of things, but that’s the part we care about today.
Before we get into the video and the laughs, there are a few things to know. First, TikTok is roughly twice as popular as Twitter. For anyone who wants to get “the pulse of regular people,” TikTok is going to be more reliable than Twitter ever was.
Second, TikTok is actually fun sometimes. Instead of a bunch of people using it to yell at each other on the internet, people have to share creative content to engage with TikTok. That makes it much better for satire, and it keeps a healthy lightheartedness.
