TikTok Trend Alert: Liberal Women are Bragging About Aborting Their Babies for Being Boys

The video opens like thousands of others on TikTok: a positive pregnancy test, then an ultrasound. The caption reads, "the moment I found out it was a boy."

Then comes what appears to be a Planned Parenthood abortion appointment. The final caption: "the moment I booked that appointment," followed by a laughing emoji.

The account behind it, called "Kenna daisy," had posted nothing else. There's no way to know whether the woman was really pregnant or whether the appointment was real, and it's possible the whole thing was a sick bid for attention.

But more than 434,000 people liked it, and those likes were real.

So were the replies that spread across TikTok and X in the days afterward. "I got an abortion with each boy," one woman wrote. "Told my husband I had a miscarriage and go spend a week at the spa after."

"No fr I'm either having a girl or an abortion," wrote another. Under one clip, commenters praised the decision: "Thank you for saving the world from more murderer." "Doing gods work tbh." "You saved the world less trouble."

The reason given again and again was that a baby boy might grow up to be an abuser or a rapist.

One creator pushed back. "How do you think of a two-month-old baby," she asked, "and think yep he's gonna grow up and rape women?"

For decades, aborting a child because of its sex was the line most abortion supporters said they would never cross. The United Nations Population Fund estimates that about 142 million girls are "missing" around the world because of cultural preferences for sons. In China, the one-child policy and a preference for boys pushed the birth ratio to nearly 116 boys for every 100 girls by 2014, far above the natural range of about 103 to 107. The country ended up with 33 million more men than women.

Feminists rightly called that a human rights catastrophe, and international organizations spent years documenting it. The moral logic was simple: a child shouldn't die for being the wrong sex.

The logic doesn't change when the child is a boy.

Live Action founder Lila Rose made that point on X. "Every abortion ends a human life," she wrote. "When the reason is nothing more than the child's sex, the rhetoric of 'choice' and 'autonomy' collapses into what it has always been: the deliberate rejection and murder of an 'unwanted' child."

The video didn't come out of nowhere. In a September survey by the Survey Center on American Life, 66% of young Democratic women said the challenges women face are due in great part to men's behavior or actions. Young women are absorbing a culture that treats men as the problem, and a TikTok trend shows what happens when that idea reaches a baby who hasn't been born yet.

Writer Sarah Katherine Sisk, who reported on the trend, put it plainly: "Left-wing culture and abortion culture specifically are now cultivating a deep hatred toward men."

Imagine the same video with the sexes reversed: a woman laughing as she books an abortion because her ultrasound showed a girl, and hundreds of thousands of people hitting "like." It would be on every network by morning. Activists would demand TikTok take it down, and the UN would issue a statement.

Where are those voices now?

This story is about one anonymous account and a pile of anonymous replies, and none of it can be verified. One number can. A video celebrating the abortion of a baby boy because he was a boy was liked more than 434,000 times.
