Daily Caller recently posted a video from 1997 in which then private citizen and radio personality Mike Pence offered a powerful Memorial Day tribute to those who died for this country.
Unlike other politicians, Pence and President Trump have not used patriotism to gain votes, they are patriots.
Steven Nelson of the New York Post writes that President Trump announced last month his executive order calling for a federal “1776 Commission” to promote “patriotic education.”
Trump warned, “A radical movement is attempting to demolish [our] … treasured and precious inheritance. We can’t let that happen. Left-wing mobs have torn down statues of our founders, desecrated our memorials, and carried out a campaign of violence and anarchy.”
The President’s call for patriotic education comes in response to the New York Times’ “totally discredited 1619 Project.” The 1619 Project’s premise is that America was founded on “the principle of oppression, not freedom.”
Never shy of taking a jab at former Vice President Biden, Trump revealed he would erect a monument to Delaware Founding Father Caesar Rodney.
In the wake of the May killing of George Floyd by Minnesota police and the national anti-police brutality and anti-racism protests that followed, Biden’s hometown of Wilmington, Del. removed Rodney’s statue from a public square.
The Biden campaign was silent on the matter.

I believe that both Donald Trump and Mike Pence are strong patriots of this country. They should be voted in because they love this country and will fight for it. They have spent the last 4 years fighting for our country. We need people like this with Honor, Character and Integrity to be our leaders. Especially, people who Love the Lord. That is sorely missing in this country now.

I believe Mike Pence was thinking and praying about much than our armed forces. I believe he had the big picture. I believe he was thinking about all that was good and holy, all the way back before we became a nation. I believe he was thinking about the pioneers that pushed from the east that ended up on the west coast. I believe he included the Native Indians tribes that pushed out from Alaska and ended up on the east coast. I believe all the good people that honestly and correctly ran their cities, states and the federal government were in his thoughts.

I think the actions of President Trump and Vice President Prence are are genuine and should be commended, while the liberals and their canidants are supported by demoninstrators who carry placards with statements like “I can’t breath” regarding people some of whom are criminals who died in altercations with law enforcement. However, I have never seen any of them carrying a placard saying ” I never got a chance to breath” for the infant deaths atributable to the liberals abortions.
