President Donald Trump is on the verge of doing something which could singlehandedly make him the most POPULAR American President ever: Abolishing the IRS!
U.S. Secretary of Commerce Howard Lutnick appeared on Fox News where he revealed to host Jesse Watters that President Trump’s ultimate goal is to “abolish the internal revenue service (IRS).”
“His goal is to abolish the Internal Revenue Service and let all the outsiders pay. I mean, this is someone who is focused on America. Let’s drive down our waste, foreign abuse,” Lutnick told Watters.
Lutnick pointed out that Americans have been forced to pay a ridiculous amount of money in taxes while foreign entities, who have arguably benefited the most from our taxes, have been paying NOTHING.
“I’ll give you an example, cruise ships. You ever see a cruise ship with an American flag on the back? They have flags of Liberia or Panama. None of them pay taxes. Every supertanker, none pays taxes. Alcohol, all foreign alcohol, no taxes,” Lutnick said.
Trump wants to change that by axing the IRS and having the EXTERNAL Revenue Service (ERS) to collect taxes from foreigners doing business in America RATHER than the American people.
The IRS in its current form, exists almost exclusively to take money out of Americans’ pockets so that our government can send away to foreign nations and people are SICK OF IT!
A Pew Research poll said that the IRS ranks as the least favored federal agency, with 50% of Americans having an unfavorable view of the agency – while the other 50% apparently don’t pay taxes.
If trump pulls this off there is no doubt, he would go down in history as one of the greatest presidents we have ever seen.
