Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) made a sad attempt to trash President Donald Trump earlier this week over some fake poll numbers suggesting that Americans are unhappy with the job he’s done.
And it didn’t go to well for old Chuck….
The fake polls claimed that Trump’s first 100 days in office had earned him the lowest approval rating of any American president in the past 80 years.
The numbers were exposed as blatantly false when these outlets ADMITTED that they were leaving a huge chunk of Trump supporters out …enough to actually put him into POSITIVE approval territory.
With a sinister little smile on his face, Schumer decided to parrot these fake news numbers before the media… but he wasn’t ready for the media response.
“The polls this week show Trump has the lowest 100 day approval rating since they started polling 80 years ago! The lowest!” a giddy Schumer said.
Subsequently, a reporter responded by pointing out that “There’s a poll out today that has your approval rating lower than any other Congressional leader at 17%.” And then asking him, “Are you concerned that you may be a liability for your party?”
Schumer’s response was HILARIOUS as he suddenly decided that polls no longer mattered…seconds after trying to use polls to attack Trump.
“Polls come and go! Our party is united! We’re on our front foot, we’re stepping forward and going after Trump and having real success,” Schumer said.
I guess for Chuck, polls only matter when they’re fake and help him spread lies?
