This is What Republicans Can Learn from Ron DeSantis’ Landslide Win

Ron DeSantis and the state of Florida delivered big-time on the ‘Red Tsunami’ everyone was expecting, while the rest of the GOP largely underperformed – creating the blueprint for how Republicans can blow Democrats out of the water in future elections.

DeSantis has been no stranger to fighting the culture war during his time as governor, rejecting left-wing ideology and even branding Florida as the state where “woke goes to die.”

However, that alone is not what got him re-elected by the impressive margin of nearly 20%, or helped the state nearly give the GOP a House majority on its own.

The Florida Governor has excelled on the issues EVERYONE cares about, making him an easy choice for Independents and even Democrats, evidenced by his ability to flip historically blue counties red.

While some Republican candidates ran primarily on the cultural issues, that made them easy choices for the Democrats to brand as “too extreme,” creating a situation in which Democrats and Independents who are not happy with the way the left is running the country were hesitant when it came to casting a vote for the Republican candidate.

Americans are unhappy with the Democrats and that makes them vulnerable. DeSantis and the rest of Florida have shown exactly how to beat the left. It’s up to the Republican party to follow suit.
