It’s happening again — and this time, it might finally break the Democrats.
The chaos unfolding in Los Angeles right now isn’t just another leftist tantrum. It’s a full-blown political disaster for the Democratic Party — and the more they try to spin it, the worse it gets.
For days, violent mobs have overrun parts of Los Angeles under the guise of “protesting” ICE. But there’s no mistaking what’s really happening: criminals are looting stores, torching vehicles, attacking police officers, and waving foreign flags while desecrating American ones.
Democrat leaders in California have completely lost control — and worse, they don’t seem interested in regaining it. That left President Donald Trump with no choice: he sent in the National Guard and deployed Marines to restore order.
And that’s when Democrats thought they had their opening.
The narrative they’re now pushing is absurd: Trump is an “authoritarian” for stepping in to stop violence and protect American citizens. They genuinely believed this would help them politically.
Spoiler alert: It’s backfiring.
Even some of their own are starting to say the quiet part out loud. Senator John Fetterman (D-PA), of all people, slammed his party for refusing to condemn the riots, saying Democrats have “lost the moral high ground.”
“Pro-Hamas rallies, now violent anti-ICE riots? We can’t keep pretending this is normal protest,” posted Fetterman.
I unapologetically stand for free speech, peaceful demonstrations, and immigration—but this is not that.
This is anarchy and true chaos.

But the damage may already be done.
According to CNN’s own data guru Harry Enten, Trump’s approval rating on immigration — already a core issue heading into 2024 — has skyrocketed in the wake of the LA violence.
“Trump is now more trusted on immigration than any Republican candidate in decades,” Enten said, warning Democrats that the numbers are moving hard in Trump’s direction.

Why Trump's eager for an immigration fight: His net approval is positive (+1 pt) & up like a rocket vs. term 1.

While Democrats accuse Trump of being a dictator for enforcing the law, Americans are watching their cities crumble and deciding they’ve had enough.
The truth is simple: the left’s obsession with protecting illegal aliens, defending violent rioters, and attacking law enforcement isn’t just unpopular — it’s becoming politically toxic.
And if this keeps up, the riots in Los Angeles might not just burn buildings…
They might burn down what’s left of the Democratic Party’s credibility.
