In Los Angeles, California, one of the most heavily taxed cities in the country, the Democrat leadership decided it would be a good idea to use the money that they’re taking from hardworking Americans and produce… luxury high-rise buildings for the homeless…
Costing an ABSURD $168 million, the Weingart Center Tower was just unveiled in Downtown LA. The building has 228 studio apartments and 47 one bedroom apartments, with three units dedicated to on-site management.
This means that the taxpayers were forced to cough up $600,000 PER UNIT.
Residents of this new completely unnecessary luxury homeless shelter will have access to onsite amenities, including a gym, an art room, a music room, a café, a pool, and a library.
The worst part? Los Angeles plans to build two more towers just like this – amounting to total cost of about $500 million to house just 825 homeless people.
That’s completely INSANE!
But why are the Democrats doing this, surely even THEY’RE not that dumb…right?
Well, no, they’re not. They’re doing this because they want to DESTROY the middle class and what a better way to do that than by taxing them into oblivion in order to give the poorest people in society luxury lifestyles courtesy of the communist government.
Los Angeles often serves as the testing ground for moronic programs like these before they expand across the country which means that any city could be next – including yours.
