The White House is being accused of gaslighting the American people. The President gave a speech in which he made an obvious gaffe—a la Ron Burgundy—while reading from a teleprompter. But when the official transcript of Biden’s speech was released, Biden’s gaffe had been removed. The gaslighting isn’t of anything important, but it does reveal how prone the Biden administration is to lying to the American people and the lengths they’ll go to cover for a doddering President.
Biden literally read words on the screen that were not intended to be read, similar to the Ron Burgundy character from “Anchorman.” During a recent speech, the president said, “End of quote. Repeat the line.”
It may just be a funny moment for some, but the aftermath is more serious. First, the White House has started editing Biden’s gaffes out of transcripts. That’s a big no-no.
Second, it shows Biden is simply reading whatever is in front of him without thinking about the words. This is concerning both because he may not really know what he is saying and because indicates other people are the ones controlling the Biden agenda.
Past presidents have had speechwriters and their share of errors as well, but this is just one in a giant list of blunders that continue to make Biden and the nation look weak on the world stage. Check out the full video to see for yourself now.
