The WEF’s “Own Nothing” Agenda Returns with New Leadership

The World Economic Forum has a new figurehead — BlackRock CEO Larry Fink — and with him comes the revival of one of the organization’s most alarming agendas: a future where ordinary citizens own nothing, and corporations own everything.

This isn’t speculation. It’s being promoted openly by WEF representatives like Danish politician Ida Auken, who went viral again after boasting about a world where private ownership is gradually erased.

Auken laid out the roadmap, using cars as her example. First, make vehicles electric. Then, make them self-driving. Finally, convince people to give up ownership altogether — “for the greater good.” According to Auken, why should you own a car when you can simply rent your neighbor’s through an app?

That argument might sound harmless until you follow it to its logical conclusion. Once private car ownership is abandoned, the next step — which Auken has discussed publicly — is surrendering ownership of nearly everything else: cell phones, refrigerators, washing machines.

“Why do you want to own it?” she asked, suggesting companies should retain ownership while individuals merely rent. In other words, independence and privacy are traded for permanent dependency.

The fear isn’t just theoretical. Under this model, every essential item in your life would be tied to a corporate gatekeeper, and access could be revoked at the touch of a button. Fall out of favor politically? Speak too loudly against the system? Suddenly, your “shared” transportation, your “leased” appliances, or even your home access might no longer be available.

The WEF’s recent silence led some to believe the “Own Nothing” agenda had been shelved. Instead, with Larry Fink now at the helm, it appears to be returning in full force — dressed up as progress, but carrying the unmistakable blueprint of control.

The video of Auken explaining this vision doesn’t come across as theory or debate. It comes across as a sales pitch for a world where freedom is replaced with dependence — and where citizens, stripped of ownership, are reduced to permanent renters of their own lives.
