Fox Business hosted professor Brian Brenberg from the King’s College to discuss the real reason the Democrat COVID-19 relief bill smells like political payback. The answer? Look at the states receiving funding.
The Biden stimulus plan includes massive assistance targeting blue states that have maintained the strongest lockdowns since the beginning of the 2020 pandemic. The original stimulus plan included over $100 million for San Francisco mass transit near House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s district. Some have even dubbed it “Pelosi’s Subway.”
Much of the economic relief in the stimulus bill targets blue states unable to pay their bills following COVID-19 shutdowns. Instead of rewarding the states that took responsibility for their budget despite the virus, the stimulus rewards the poor spending of blue states that are tens of millions of dollars in debt.
As Brenberg points out, when you reward bad behavior, you create a cycle where states spend poorly because they know the federal government will back them up. This pattern cannot end well, leading to increased government dependence that will stifle American freedoms.

Ummm………..10% is $190 Billion. The stimulus checks will total an estimated $445 Billion alone. The tax breaks for dependent children and EIA will add even more. And $20 Billion is only 1%.

The real reason for the stimulus at this time is for the Democrats to give taxpayer money to liberal states before people realize that it’s unnecessary, and actually harmful to the recovery that is already underway, principally in conservative states. For Democrats, this pandemic crisis cannot be allowed to go to waste before it is over.
