President Biden chose the background noise of his personal helicopter to lecture everyone on his expertise on 9mm vs. .22 caliber handguns.
To the chagrin of his Secret Service detail, the president demonstrated how it is better to stay quiet and have people think you’re dumb, than to open your mouth and let them know for sure.
Said the president, who probably doesn’t put in a lot of time at the firing range, a .22 caliber bullet will lodge in a lung and can be removed to save the victim’s life. On the other hand, a 9mm will rip the lung right out of the body.
He may have mistaken the power of the 9mm with a .350 magnum.
While the president was confused about ammunition, he also tried to include the 9mm in his fallacious rationale that it was one of those weapons—you know, like a cannon—that people don’t need for self-defense.
If President Biden is going to sell his gun control program to Americans who believe in the Second Amendment, he’s got to start getting his facts straight. (Given his record of gaffes so far, what are the chances that’ll happen?)
Even the friendly Washington Post felt compelled to write a fact check article, “Biden’s false claim that the 2nd Amendment bans cannon ownership.” Here’s what the president claimed:
“…The Second Amendment, from the day it was passed, limited the type of people who could own a gun and what type of weapon you could own. You couldn’t buy a cannon.”

I just heard that one of the kids who survived the school shooting is going to congress to talk about her experience. How can anyone allow this child to be manipulated and abused this way? This could do irreversible harm to this child. It makes you wonder how a responsible parent could do this to their own child. It makes one question how much the parents are getting paid and by who. Mental health issues being addressed is the only answer to these evil shootings. Gun laws are never followed by wrong doers. More laws are not the answer. Tightening the existing laws will help, enforcing the laws we already have will help. Social media reporting threats and evil could have stopped all of these shootings. Stop using children to push through political agendas.
Mr. Biden again showed his cluelessness towards guns and ammunition. The guns and ammunition are not the problem, it’s the mentally disturbed and anger filled people that are the problem. He can raise the age to 21 to purchase a weapon, but the thugs are still going to get hands on weapons and cause even more issues. Address the real issues and maybe things may calm down a bit.

Mental health issues must be addressed as America has forgotten Jimmy Carter’s actions that resulted inthe release of thousands of mentally unstable individuals from hospitals and facilities around the country with the thought they could be better served as outpatients rather than being locked away. As a result we now have a serious situation with many, mentally ill individuals who should be in controlled situations who are on the streets having to deal with their own internal devils. How many incidents over the past year have we seen where following a mass murder or other grisly incident to we read that the perpetrator was mentally ill? We need to do a better job in identifying and ensuring that the mentally ill are not left to their own devices, that if indicated they are institutionalized, not left to self medicate and wander the streets. For the criminally minded guns can be obtained, albeit illegally, as they don’t care about the law. Outlawing guns for the law abiding citizens reders them incapable of protecting and defending their families and property and ultimately subjugates them to servitude under a totalitarian government, which is exactly what the Second Amendment was written to protect us from.

I think you are all mistaken about the real problem. Every shooter can’t be mentally off. Granted, all of them have been prooven to be Democrats, after an investigation into their lives. The big mistake this administration is not locking criminals up and keeping them locked up. You don’t turn some criminal loose before the ink on their paper work gets dry unless you want them to do it again. Get the Soros D.A.’s, prosecuters, judges, and A.G.’s out of the system. That would be a good first step.
I bet an empirical study of the political affiliation of mass shooters will show over 80% are democrats or their parents are. Why? Democrats have no God in their soul, no Jesus Christ in their heart and no Spirit in their body. They are incapable of rational, logical thought and are simply fodder for leftist (crazy) ideology. There are over 20,000 Gun Laws on the books (Local, State and Federal), and you’d be hard pressed to find any of those laws that have impacted crime to any significant level. Why? Because Criminals don’t follow the Law. That’s not a Theory, it’s a Fact.
The last Assault Weapons Ban and Magazine Capacity Restriction did nothing to lower crime. N-O-T-H-I-N-G, and that’s why it was allowed to lapse. No study showed it having any impact, and I’d remind Congress, that Columbine, and other less publicized shootings occurred right during the Ban.
The simple fact of life is that it’s impossible to legislate Evil out of Evil Doers. It doesn’t work, it’s been tried and it’s failed every time. If it worked, our prisons wouldn’t be overcrowded.
The best, and most Common Sense approach to dealing with Evil, is to prepare for it. You Harden potential targets to the point that it’s not worth the effort to defeat the security in place, yet after each shooting, all we hear is Guns, Guns, and Guns, especially from the Democrat’s and their Media Propagandists.
The Arvada, Boulder, Parkland, Buffalo, and Uvalde shooters (plus the majority of other shooters), all should have been flagged in the NICS system. All had troubling interactions with the Authorities long before their heinous crimes, yet they weren’t flagged, and as a result they were able to legally purchase a weapon, in spite of the actions and threats they’d made more than once. “They weren’t 18, so we didn’t want to give them a record,” is a piss poor excuse, and that needs to stop. I leave Columbine out of that list, because the weapon(s) were Straw Purchased (already a Felony Offense).
Parkland gives lie to Capacity Restrictions, as the Shooter there was restricted to 10 round magazines, yet still managed to kill 17 and wound 17 more. That means the Shooter reloaded at least Four times, possibly more as we never hear about the number of missed shots.
Every Firearm, from Matchlock Muskets to the controversial AR-15 has been a Weapon of War at some point in History, so stop the scare mongering, it shows an ignorance of Firearms in general. In point of fact, the AR-15 has never been fielded by any modern armed forces, because it’s incapable of Full Automatic or Burst Fire (not without some machining and parts that are restricted from Civilian Ownership without a very expensive and restricted license).
Just tossing this out there, but I and others have questions about the Uvalde Shooting, which are not being answered. How did a part time Food Service worker afford his purchases. This was no budget AR, but a Top of the Line AR, costing somewhere between $1800 to $2500 (depending on how it was set up). We’re not told what brand the second AR he had was, but a budget AR is between $500 to $1,000. He had over 1500 rounds of Ammunition (even in bulk purchase, that’s $0.60 to $0.90 per round, so $600 to $1,000 in ammo). 60 magazines ($15 to $20 each depending upon brand, so another $900 – $1200). That’s more than just suspicious, it’s a Red Flag to me that someone helped this nutjob make his purchases. I don’t buy the “He saved up for it” answer.
I’m highly suspicious that this Shooter, like Buffalo, may have been Groomed. The more information they release, the probability that someone Groomed him goes up.
