USA Today’s Joey Garrison reports voter turnout “could reach highest rate in more than a century.” Democrats are counting on mail-in voting to win the day for Joe Biden, but there’s still election day.
Texas, for example, has already reached 60% of the overall number that voted in 2016. Harris County Clerk Chris Hollins reports, ”The numbers that we’ve seen, they’ve blown out our expectations. We certainly expect that this will be the highest turnout election of all-time here.”
Pundits speculate the early voting turnout favors a Biden victory but that’s a misleading opinion.
Democrats make up 55% of the 2.1 million people who “voted by mail across the seven early voting states where voters register by party.”
Michael McDonald, associate professor of political science at the University of Florida, said, “Trump supporters have been listening to the president, his rhetoric about mail ballot fraud, and they decided not to vote by mail.”
Republicans are sure that the President’s warnings are more than political rhetoric. Democrats by in large trust mail- voting whereas Republicans do not and are more likely to vote in person on November 3rd.
That means in such a close race, whoever registered the most the latest may end up the winner.

I also being a former resident in Florida for over 40 years am getting information to vote in Florida, meaning I could probably have voted in 2 states but I’m too old to go to jail. I’m not lucky like that.

I received a mail-in ballot for my deceased husband who died in May 2011 and has not loved at the address to which this ballot was sent since 2011.
