The Media’s Reaction to Greta Thunberg vs The Covington Kids

It’s a tail of two stories. In one, a brave young woman stood up to the corrupt politicians of the world and unified the youth of every nation to finally defeat climate change once and for all. By demanding that world leaders crash economies with no real solutions in sight, Greta Thunberg stuck it to the man. Future generations will sing songs and say prayers to her, grateful that she was the one who brought down the climate change industrial complex.

The other story is of a different kind of youth. This vile, contemptuous teenager single handedly undid years of racial and ethnic progress. He threatened the integrity of the indigenous way of life in America. He was so evil that he has become the very face of racism in our country, and he managed to do all of this by standing still and smiling awkwardly. Only a white male could convey so much hate with so little effort.

When you really contrast these two narratives, it paints a pretty damning picture, but neither of the kids in question are the ones who need to be condemned.

You might have found Thunberg’s speech to be ridiculous and unnecessary, but she’s still a child. She’s just repeating what she was told.

Conversely, Nick Sandman behaved far better than most of us would have in the face of adult aggression and intimidation. Would you smile politely to diffuse a tense situation after hours of unjust berating and hostile aggression?

You know the media is full of hypocrites. Still, this video makes a powerful point. Look at the media’s treatment of these two children, side by side. Watch this video. Then, bookmark it. Any time you lose a little of your fire in the fight against left-wing media, pull this up for a fresh renewal.
