Is it big news, or is it no news? Mueller’s report now fully confirms that President Trump didn’t collude with Russia to win the 2016 election. Reasonable people are completely unsurprised. Yet, it’s a big, important story. The left stacked the deck as hard as they could, and they couldn’t get a single thing to stick to Mr. Trump. He’s completely clear.
This is obviously a great thing for the country. One of the ways the left wanted to leverage an undermining of the amazing progress our President has engineered over the past two years was to call him corrupt. If he was a Russian agent, they could try to destroy the tax cuts, deregulation and trade deals that have finally rebuilt our economy.
Instead, the most intricate, state-sponsored mudslinging in the history of our nation has come to a close, and not a drop of it sullied President Trump. The easy road to oppose his wildly successful policy is gone, and now the Democrats have to try and win a fair election to get what they want.
It’s no wonder they’re so upset. They wouldn’t know a fair election if it thumped them on the forehead (which 2016 basically did). But, when you stop to think about it, the Democratic reaction is really unhealthy. In fact, it’s outright unacceptable. They aren’t just unhappy about policy. They actively rooted for our sitting President to be a Russian asset.
