A Democrat mayor from Bogalusa, Louisiana, just gave us a rather clear-cut reminder of the corruption that has consumed the modern Democratic party when he was caught funneling taxpayer money to pay for drugs and escorts!
25-year-old Tyrin Truong is the youngest-ever mayor in the city and was widely considered to be a rising star in the crooked Democratic party.
But his political career might be over now after his arrest this week, accompanies by a litany of criminal charges including allegations of drug trafficking, unauthorized use of a moveable, and soliciting prostitutes — misusing taxpayer funds to support this criminal lifestyle of his.
“Bogalusa Mayor Tyrin Truong was booked into the Washington Parish Jail on one count of soliciting for prostitutes, one count of unauthorized use of a movable, and two counts of transactions involving proceeds from drug offenses.” The Washington Parish Sheriff’s Office announced on Facebook.
Truong’s organization allegedly distributed opioids, high-grade marijuana, THC products, and MDMA, using social media platforms to coordinate sales and payments according to authorities.
Truong is accused of not only participating in these illegal activities but also using his position and public funds to do things like rent an Airbnb in Atlanta during a mayoral conference and pay for “organized entertainment with a prostitute”
Sadly, the crimes are not what disqualify him as a future superstar in the Democratic party, but instead it’s simply the fact that he got CAUGHT!
If you’re a Democrat politician you can do whatever you want, but getting caught is the ONE big no-no.
