The leftists have tried everything. They’ve thrown the proverbial kitchen sink at Trump, and he’s still here. More importantly, he’s still winning. It’s so easy to get distracted by the incessant media spin and bad news mongering, but the truth is that the United States is in the best shape we’ve seen in decades.
On the right, we talk about the economy a lot. It’s important. Obama’s slow, stagnant recovery from the recession had us all believing that it was just the new normal, but in a year and a half, Trump has reversed that thinking completely. Jobs, productivity, wages, GDP and every other measure of economic success are all booming.
At the same time, we’re correcting a decade of bad foreign policy. Nuclear regimes are disarming. Dictators are retracting, and people around the globe are getting glimmers of hope that had seemed extinguished under Obama. Don’t let the media get you down. Things really are looking up, and it’s ok to feel it inside.
