California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D), also known as Nancy Pelosi’s nephew and Hair-Gel Hitler, has just signed an unconstitutional new bill into law. The bill bans memes and deepfake videos on the internet, including ones that are clearly marked as parodies or satires.
The bill is so draconian and stupid, and such a blatant violation of the First Amendment, that there is zero chance the courts will uphold it.
The response to Newsom doing this was swift from all across the internet. Tons of people from other states started making memes of Newsom and daring him to try to arrest them for engaging in free speech.
This bill is really aimed at censoring X.com (formerly Twitter). The Democrat Party cannot stand the fact that Americans have one social media site where they are allowed to engage in free speech and mock the worthless political leaders in our country. They don’t even try to hide it any longer.
If you say anything that offends a Democrat, they want you censored or locked up on hate crime charges. How dare you speak out against them, you little peasant! What do you think you are—an American with constitutional rights?
The Babylon Bee was just one of the groups that immediately had something to say about Gavin Newsom’s newfound powers to arrest people over speech he doesn’t like. We’re not going to say anything else about it. Just trust us, you’ll get a kick out of this:
