The 5 Worst Things Democrats Want Money for in their Massive $3 Trillion Relief Bill

House Democrats are pushing an economic relief package that eclipses the recent bi-partisan CARES ACT which, at the moment, is the largest relief legislation in history.

According to Congress.gov, H.R. 6800 – Health and Economic Recovery Omnibus Emergency Solutions Act or HEROES Act – includes among “other things” provides:

  • Provides monetary benefits package and immediate release of certain illegal aliens in ICE custory
  • Mandates jails release convicted felons immediately and provides them with monetary benefits package
  • Additional direct payments of up to $1,200 per individual.
  • Establishes requirements for COVID-19 testing and contact tracing in all 50 states
  • Funding for Mail-In voting for all 50 states for the November election.

Republicans say it’s those “other things” that have nothing to do with the COVID-19 outbreak that bothers them.

Rep. Bill Huizenga (R-MI) said, “Clearly this is an agenda … [and] isn’t a serious attempt at dealing with what we’re going through as a country. This is kind of the mother of all Christmas trees of pet policies and pet projects as far as I’m concerned.”

Republican Rep Rep. Steve Stivers of Ohio warned his colleagues, “Before we spend another trillion dollars, we’ve got to make sure we’re doing what will get people back to work and get this economy working again.”

And there is the rub, said Ben Shapiro. Democrats don’t care if Americans “get back to work;” they just want to control them.
