Yet Again: A Republican Target Caught in a Trans Assassin’s Crosshairs

Well, here we go again. Another transgender tries to kill a conservative leader. This just after the world lost conservative icon Charlie Kirk to an assassin who was in a gay relationship with a transgender man.

Remember Nicholas Roske? The guy who showed up at Brett Kavanaugh’s house in 2022 with a pistol, a knife, a crowbar, tactical gear, and a death wish for the Constitution? Yeah, *that* guy. He was caught red-handed, literally standing outside the justice’s home, ready to commit an act of political terrorism. But now, just weeks before his sentencing, Roske suddenly wants to be referred to with female pronouns and has rebranded himself as “Sophie.”

And the kicker? His lawyer and the court are going along with it. In a new court filing, they actually wrote, “Out of respect for Ms. Roske, the balance of this pleading and counsel’s in-court argument will refer to her as Sophie and use female pronouns.”

“Out of respect”? Respect for what, exactly? The guy tried to assassinate a sitting Supreme Court Justice because he didn’t like his judicial philosophy. That’s not bravery. That’s not activism. That’s terrorism.

Let’s rewind for a second. This all went down just before the Court overturned Roe v. Wade. The Left was in full meltdown mode, staging protests outside the homes of conservative justices, encouraged by the usual suspects in the media and politics. And while Democrats screamed about “threats to democracy,” one of their own sympathizers literally showed up at Kavanaugh’s house with a kill kit. But sure, blame January 6th for all the violence in America.

Now the DOJ is pushing for a 30-year sentence, which honestly sounds light considering Roske admitted he planned to take out multiple justices to change the outcome of court decisions. Prosecutors laid it out plainly: this wasn’t just some mentally ill guy having a bad day. He had “researched and targeted” members of the judiciary, hoping to shift the balance of power on the bench. That’s straight-up insurrection. But don’t expect CNN or The New York Times to use that word. It only applies when someone wears a red hat.

As for the mental health angle, Roske reportedly had a long history of issues, including homicidal thoughts about his own sister. But forgive us if we don’t buy the sob story. Mental illness doesn’t excuse premeditated attempted murder. It doesn’t excuse bringing a loaded weapon to a judge’s house. And it definitely doesn’t excuse the circus act we’re seeing now with this sudden gender twist.

Let’s be real: this looks like a shameless attempt to score sympathy points, confuse the system, or possibly influence prison placement. And you better believe the Left will eat it up. Because in today’s twisted political theater, the more “identities” you stack on, the more protected you are. Being a would-be assassin? Bad. But being a “trans” would-be assassin? Well, now you’ve got a story arc.

Meanwhile, the rest of us are left shaking our heads as our justice system bends over backward to accommodate a man who tried to murder a Supreme Court Justice in cold blood. If this is what passes for justice in 2025, we’ve got a serious problem.

But hey, at least we now know what a “gender-inclusive” assassination attempt looks like. Welcome to the modern Democrat playbook—where even failed killers get a pronoun preference.
