Students Say Obama Quote is Racist…when They Think It’s From Trump

Cabot Phillips of Campus Reform recently interviewed college students and asked what they thought of a quote from what they thought was President Trump but in fact, came from forerm President Barack Obama.

The quote is from a 2014 speech that Obama gave, and Democrats and the mainstream media probably wish it wasn’t so easy to find. Here’s the quote:

“We are a nation of laws, undocumented workers broke our laws and I believe they must be held accountable, especially those who may be dangerous. That’s why over the last six years deportations of criminals are up 80%, and we’re going to keep focusing on threats to our security.”

When confronted with the fact Obama said these things and not Trump, it became obvious these bright young minds had no idea that it is Obama who was dubbed “The Deporter in Chief” by his own allies in the Latino community.

Barack Obama deported one million more illegal aliens that George W. Bush and over 2 million more than Bill Clinton. But, a look at the students’ lack of historical awareness and rush to defend Obama and vilify Trump illustrates how entrenched the narrative of the mainstream media has become.

Watch the video and learn what university students said when they were told these quotes were from Barack Obama rather than President Trump. Also, take note of how quickly these students turned to talking points about how “racist” Trump is.
