While there are a handful of Republicans in Hollywood, the overwhelming majority of actors, writers, producers, directors, and film people are very liberal. Because Hollywood is a tight-knit circle they literally surround themselves with only other liberals, leading them to only hear the opinions of their fellow liberal elitist over and over again, day in and day out.
So, when there is an award ceremony within Hollywood, it will almost always bring out Democrat hate speeches towards Republicans. This happens at nearly every Hollywood event, especially whenever actors come together, such as the recent SAG awards.
While the vast majority of the film and television industry is Democrat, very few people who work behind the scenes accept awards by delivering blatant propaganda speeches. Sound guys never stand up on stage and lambaste people who don’t think the same way, nor do record producers or anything like that. Only the people who pretend to be other people (actors) are the ones who feel the need to stand on a soap box and yell at the rest of the world.
Recently, at the SAG (Screen Actors Guild) award ceremony, the Netflix original TV show “Stranger Things” won for best ensemble cast. This is essentially the “Best TV Show” award. The main lead actor, after taking his award, decided to go off on everything and everyone who doesn’t think like he does. He even threatens to start punching people in the face.
