Taliban wants their $9 million in frozen assets back, or else. The “or else” is what Lara Logan discusses in her video that claims things are much worse than anyone realizes.
Sure, the radical group will play nice as long as you send them money. But what happens when the funds stop flowing? There seems to be a hint that the situation is about to get ugly, and we don’t want to find out what ugly means.
In legal terms, we call this blackmail. The U.S. gives money or something bad happens to its people. This is also considered negotiating with terrorists, something our nation technically does not do. This may be why the Biden administration won’t call the Taliban the enemy or terrorists. If so, we wouldn’t be able to legally negotiate.
But for now, it’s all about the money, at least from the Taliban’s perspective. They’re ready to nation-build their way with a new leadership team complete with members of the Taliban Five and even the leaders of a terrorist group from the FBI’s most wanted list.
Check it out for all the details and see why the situation truly is much worse than anyone realizes in this important video from Lara Logan.
